A WWII era Nazi German M1933 Waffen SS officer dagger featuring a high quality steel blade with the etched SS motto Meine Ehre heisst Treue and an inscription to the other side. The blade sits securely within a nickel-silver upper crossguard, bearing eight etched notches, with four distributed at both the top and bottom. A black wood grip decorated with a nicely detailed silver eagle and SS rune button. A black anodized steel scabbard shell has nickel plated upper and lower fittings and a suspension ring. Marked Carl Eickhorn Solingen on the ricasso.
Dimensions: L: 14 5/8 in., (37 cm.)
Condition: Very good, scabbard has a small dent, blade is slightly scratched.
