A dagger with a flattened-diamond-shaped single-edged blade with a reinforced tip. The forte is engraved with "NC" and a mythological creature. The hilt is mounted with a twisted wire. The Quilon is cast as a snake set with red ruby eyes.Italy, 17th century.Provenance: An estate of a New York gentleman.
