With a slightly re-curved single-edged pointy blade with a T-shaped spine, the rock crystal hilt is carved with palmettes and rosettes with steel mounts decorated with gold inlay. The pommel is set with three gems.India, 18th cen.
Dimensions: L: 14 in., (36 cm.)
Condition: The blade appears to be re-sharpened. The gold inlay (koftgari) on steel mounts is in near pristine condition, scabbard is missing.
