Rare original Dresden Saxony porcelain figurine depicting a French lieutenant of 7th Hussars wearing the uniform of the Napoleonic wars. Finely modelled, neatly hand-painted, and highlighted with gilding. Signed in French to the base: "Hussard du 9e Hussards." The maker’s mark is a five-pronged crown with the letter N in gold, circa 1900.
