A sculptural study by Gaetano Cecere for the sculpture "Leda and the Swan". Gaetano Cecere (1894-1985) is an American sculptor who was born, educated and worked in New York City. His sculptures are distinguished by soft plastic forms, a delicate study of texture. The signature of the author is carved in stone: "CECERE 1947".
Provenance: from the artist’s summer estate/studio in Milford, PA

Condition: Very good with expected signs of wear
