An early period dagger with yellow plastic grip decorated with brass strips on both sides, pommel bears a star, original red leather washer, straight double edged blade with one fuller on each side, inscription on ricasso in Cyrillic – owner’s name "K-T ATANASOV" (Captain Atanason) and "YAMBOL" (Yambol is a town in Southeastern Bulgaria), metal scabbard with brass mounts, complete with original hanger chain and officer’s dress belt.
