Extremely fine and rare French Maroon Limoges enameled porcelain plaque encrusted with jewels and hand-painted with an image depicting a young woman wearing a Renaissance dress and holding a tray with flowers and fruits. Dated circa 1870 and painted after the original painting by Tiziano Vecellio, Girl with a Platter of Fruit, c. 1555. Signed on the lower right: "L. Armand, d’apres Le Titian." Housed in original gilt wood and gesso frame. Provenance: Jasper52, New York, Sep 21, 2022, lot 51.

Condition: Very good with minor signs of wear.
