A pair of fine Chinese Republic period (1912–1949) hand-crafted and hand-painted porcelain dolls depicting court girls, dressed in traditional richly ornate robes, with intricate hairstyles adorned by beautifully executed rose flowers and each holding a long-handled fan. Each doll bears a hieroglyphic mark on the bottom.

Condition: Very good, no chips or cracks.
