This fine and rare Russian desk set comprises a rectangular silver-mounted polished marble base designed as an ancient Russian castle holding a lidded cut-crystal inkwell, a letter opener, and an ink blotter decorated in a Pan-Slavic style. Hallmarks: 31A (31st Artel), 84 silver standard. Ca. 1900-1910.
