Boris Efimov (Russian, Soviet, c.1900 – 2008), watercolor and ink on card caricature drawing “Hand in hand, ” 1982, depicting the Great Britain in the form of an anthropomorphic lion and the United States in the form of an anthropomorphic eagle, which carry a flag with the inscription in Russian: "Colonialism." Titled on the lower center, signed by the artist and dated ‘82 on the lower right, also signed on the upper right margin.Note: Boris Yefimovich Yefimov was a Soviet, Russian and Ukrainian political cartoonist best known for his critical political caricatures of Adolf Hitler and other Nazis produced before and during the Second World War, and was the chief illustrator of the newspaper Izvestia.

Condition: Very good, no tears or orhter damage.
